Dear Peter Rabbit by Alma Flora The characters from all the classic fairy tales are writing letters to each other and clever readers will pick up on all the clues the author leaves us. It’s the perfect book for people who enjoy a little detective work and fairy tales. February
One of my favorite books is Benjamin Franklin by Ingi & Edgar Parin d’Aulaire. I really like to read about American history, so I enjoyed learning about the fascinating life Ben Franklin led. When I first saw this book, the colorful illustrations really caught my eye. There are drawings on every page, even in the margins around the words! I highly recommend this book for any history buff in third, fourth or fifth grade! January
The Giver by Lois Lowry One of my favorite books is The Giver by Lois Lowry. If you like science-fiction this book is for you! Have you ever wondered what it would be like if everyone had an assigned job when they were older and all choices were made for you? Read The Giver to find out what the future may hold! |
